About that Thing I Said I'd Do

By the way, I'm about 7,000 words into the most boring, unintelligent, lame, plot-less, rambing assembly of words ever created. Yep. I'm so proud of my NaNoWriMo efforts!! (See, I told you you would be glad I wasn't publishing it on my blog!)

But 7,000 words! That's impressive! Think of your novel as a giant thrift store of ideas in which you will later rummage, coming up with a handful of incredible, beautiful finds that would otherwise never have been discovered.

Also, from this month on, you get to call yourself a novelist.

Not everybody can say that.

p.s. have you read "all over but the shoutin'" by rick bragg? i'm just finishing it and it is EXCELLENT. got any good book recommendations for me, my fellow book-loving friend?
