I noticed in your 2006 Reads that you have already read "Anna Karenina" this yr....?! Really?!!? How long did it take you? My husband bought it for in 2004 for Christmas and I was so excited. But then I immediately became intimidated by its mass and it has been sitting on the piano ever since, hoping to impress company i guess....Can you give me any inspiration to get started on it.....? By the way, I read and learned alot from the Love Languages books. Glad to see you spreading the word about them.

Laura,

I was utterly bored at work, with no work coming so I decided to find books online to read. I decided to read a classic ("Anna") that I had never read before. It wasn't what I expected it to be, and was certainly slow in parts, but all in all, a good read. Not the best I've ever read, certainly, but something. There are "Parts" to the book and then chapters within each part, so you could break it down and just read Part I and then take a break if you wanted to.

It took me a week at work to read it. I followed it up with a week of reading Crime and Punishment, which I thought was an apt title for how tortured I feel having no work to do!!
