There Was Just Something Missing

And so we started looking for four paws to touch our heart. And today, the rescue let us bring one home, to spend the afternoon. We took him back so he can be treated for heartworm and seen by the vet, but if all goes well, we'll have a pooch in our home as soon as Friday.

I think he's a keeper, how about you?

He looks like a great big teddy bear.

What's his name going to be?

The only way I could love this pooch more is if he weighed about 100 pounds more (I'd take another 200 pound dog anyday!) But he's adorable, and loving and sweet! We aren't sure about his name, it's the great debate in our house. We usually follow a Biblical theme but we'll have to see what name jumps out at us!

He looks cute and soft and sweet and mellow, all really important, crucial in fact, qualities in a pet dog. I am looking forward to the adventures of New-Dog
